Salaries rise for engineers despite higher unemployment

27.09.2011
The Computerworld (US) story "Salaries rise for engineers despite higher unemployment," which ran on the wire Tuesday, incorrectly reported that 93 percent of the survey respondents were unemployed. Those respondents were in fact working.

The 12th paragraph has been corrected and now reads:

According to the survey, 93% of the respondents were working. Of those not employed, 3.6% are unemployed voluntarily and assumed to be looking for jobs.
