The latest Boot Camp drivers won't work properly with the Windows Developer Preview, since the built-in OS check detects that you're running Windows 8 (NT 6.2) instead of Windows 7 (NT 6.1) -- the compatibility assistant is no solution. Here's the solution: First, download and install Microsoft's . Fire up Orca and use it to pen the "BootCamp.msi" (32-Bit) or the "BootCamp64.msi" (64-Bit) installer files, which are located under the "\Drivers\Apple" folder in your Boot Camp directory (make sure to create a backup of the original file, just in case).
