Apple's confirmed to AllThingsD that it plans to build its next big data center in Reno, Nevada. No word yet on whether Apple plans to subsidize its operation by adding slot machines to its facility.

Travel site Orbitz, noticing that people using Macs spent more than their PC counterparts on hotel bookings, has started serving them results from more expensive hotels. The goal, the company insists, is to appeal to their tastes, and does not mean that Mac users see the same rooms for higher prices. Meanwhile, iOS users insist that $1 rooms are a complete ripoff.
