According to data compiled by ASCII Corporation, Pokemon Black Version and Pokemon White Version for DS and the PSP were the best selling software and hardware in Japan this year.

Pokemon Black and Pokemon White for DS sold 4.73 million units collectively in 2010, followed by Monster Hunter Portable 3rd for PSP with 3.16 million in sales.

The success of Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 3rd helped push the PlayStation Portable slightly ahead of the DS in 2010 - but not by much.
