According to XMG, the Philippine outsourced ICT service is estimated at US$2.54 billion in 2006, up 41 percent from $1.8 billion in 2005. India's global market share is estimated at 10.6 percent for 2006. China, a late comer to the offshore outsourcing scene, shares second place with 3.56 percent global market share.

The research further finds that 94 percent of the Philippines' 1.02 percent global market share is in combined BPO and call center revenues. Approximately 5 percent or $0.14 billion can be credited to IT services.
