Parallels updated its product on Tuesday fixing several issues that caused the virtualization application to crash under certain circumstances.

According to the company a bug that caused a kernel panic when playing sound inside a virtual machine with two virtual CPUs has been fixed; a problem with a non-responsive mouse and keyboard during the installation of Mac OS X Server guest OS has been fixed; and a crash on boot after exiting PXE boot (from Acronis PXE server) has been fixed.

Other problems have been fixed including one that caused the Parallels Management Console to crash when closing it on certain Mac OS X hosts.

Parallels Server is from the company’s Web site. For new users, the application costs $1248.75.
