New iPad gets raves from survey and Consumer Reports

Overheating issues? Easily breakable? "Whatever," say consumers. The new is still the best tablet around.

According to a new survey released today by ChangeWave, 82% of new iPad owners are very satisfied with their new tablet, while 16% say they're just somewhat satisfied and 2% said they were somewhat unsatisfied. No one ChangeWave surveyed said they were very unsatisfied.

FLASHBACK:

These numbers represent an improvement over a survey of iPad owners taken in February where 74% said they were very satisfied while 23% said they were somewhat satisfied. In fact, the new iPad is so popular among users that one of the two major complaints about it has little to do with the device itself but rather the cost of subscribing to a data plan, which 23% of new iPad users said they disliked most about the device. Twenty-six percent, meanwhile, said that the overall price of the new device was their biggest dislike.

As far as what users liked best about the new device, it's really no contest as 75% said they liked the high-resolution Retina display more than any other feature.
