The Soulmen on Monday released , the newest version of its creative writing program. The update sports a brand new interface throughout, as well as new project templates and project-wide search and replace. In addition, there are dozens of new enhancements and improvements to the browser and editor, such as the ability to add bookmarks, wider export format support, completely reworked preferences, a new startup panel, and more.

Ulysses 2 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later and costs €45 (approximately $63) for a new license or €25 ($35) to update from any previous version.--

Noodlesoft on Monday announced the release of , the latest update to its automated file organization software. Version 2.3 adds multi-user support for the program's App Sweep feature: when one user deletes an application, other users on the same machine get the option to delete their support files for that app as well. The software also now features expanded formatting options for file attributes, support for the RAR archiving format, a host of user-interface improvements and enhancements, and several changes and fixes to the underlying architecture of the program.

Hazel 2.3 is a free update for existing registered users, or $22 for a new license. The program requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and a Web browser such as Safari, Camino, Firefox, or Flock.--
