LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean

18.11.2010
Disney Interactive Studios and TT Games shot out a press release announcing a LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean video game. And yes, it covers the upcoming film, On Stranger Tides.

The game also covers some of the ground the sunken game would've tread: open waters. Like all story-based LEGO games before it, Pirates walks you through the plot of the films -- but also lets you run amok in Free Play mode with over 70 different characters from the franchise. It may not be the good-and-evil morality system Armada promised, but at least it's a chance to enjoy the world of Pirates of the Caribbean without having Will & Elizabeth drama crammed down your throat -- unless your two-player co-op buddy is into some roleplaying.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean hits the Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PC, and Nintendo DS right around the time Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides lands in theaters May 2011.
