One of the most compelling titles coming out of E3 was I Am Alive, a PS3-exclusive title that takes place in an earthquake-ravaged Chicago. The teaser featured a character trying to survive in a world affected by drought and disaster, but little in the way of gameplay details. is reporting that British video game magazine has the first official details to emerge from the game's cloud of mystery. Chief among them; the title will be played in a first-person perspective and will not be worked on by Ubisoft wonder woman .

The man holding the reigns of I Am Alive is Alexis Goddard, a comparatively unknown name as far as producers go. The game seems like it will be more about escaping and surviving than hunting and killing, with rational items like water serving as the most important, rather than guns. Perhaps the most surprising reveal was that the game will be played in first person, contrary to the that showed all of the characters (we think). Goddard justified the decision, saying, "We wanted the player to really feel the power of Mother Nature, to feel the danger coming from the collapsing towers and devastating rifts, feel the chaos happening all around him. There's nothing like a first-person view to create that kind of emotion". You can read more about the story on , or if you happen to be reading this in the UK, you can take a lorry to the local book shoppe and pay a few pounds for the full story.
