Google updates Chrome for iOS, fixes bugs

Google has released a new version of its Chrome browser for iOS devices that stamps out some bugs, including one that interfered with Yahoo Mail.

This upgrade fixes "compatibility issues" with some websites, including Yahoo Mail, in the Chrome edition for iPads and iPhones.

The new version also eliminates log-in problems at some websites, as well as an issue where the "Most Visited" sites feature triggered a blank page instead of the intended list, Google said on Tuesday.

"You can get the update via the App Store, or from the prompt inside of Chrome," reads Google's .

Some outstanding known bugs remain, including the absence of a browsing history log feature.

"This feature is currently unavailable. However, you can view your most visited sites and recently closed tabs on the Most Visited section of the New Tab page," reads the browser's FAQ and Known Issues .
