Google Inc. has announced the availability of Google Pack beta in traditional Chinese.

'We are now introducing a version of Google Pack in traditional Chinese, to enable them to easily install all the essential software they need in a matter of minutes,' said Crid Yu, head of sales, Hong Kong and SE Asia.

Google Pack is a free collection of safe, useful software from Google and other companies that improves the user experience online and on the desktop. Users can easily discover, download, install and maintain software to surf the web faster, remove viruses and spyware, and effectively manage their digital information, in just a few clicks.

Added Yu, 'Users will not have to keep track of software updates or new programs that will be added for their country ' we'll make sure they're kept up-to-date and that they're notified of new products."

Google Pack includes the Google Updater which intelligently downloads, installs and maintains all the software in the Google Pack. Google Updater alerts users when new programs become available and ensures each program is always up-to-date. Google Updater can also be used to monitor the status of installation, run software that is been installed, or easily uninstall software.

Users can also easily select which programs they want to install. For programs already installed on a computer, Google Updater will detect them and check whether the latest version is running. If not, Google Updater will install the latest version.
