Gigabyte Launches Complete Range of 785G Series Motherboard

GIGABYTE announced the launch of their full range of 785G series motherboards. They are based on the newly released AMD 785G chipset with onboard ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics core. Supporting UVD 2.0, the GIGABYTE 785G series is able to provide hardware acceleration and video process capabilities for smooth Blue-ray playback while keeping CPU utilization and power consumption low. In addition, the GIGABYTE 785G series delivers DirectX 10.1 support, ensuring your system is able to take advantage of the new Windows 7 operating system.

The GIGABYTE 785G series offers support for AMD Phenom/ Athlon/ Sepmron AM2+ and AM2 processors as well as the latest generation of 45nm AMD PhenomII/ AthlonII AM3 processors with ultra low latency, high bandwidth (5200MT/s) HyperTransport 3.0 technology. It also Features a Split Power Plane, 4+1 phase VRM design.

With a range of models supporting either DDR2 memory up to 1200+ (up to 1333+ on the GA-MA785G-UD3H) or DDR3 memory up to 1800+, the GIGABYTE 785G series gives users the flexibility to build their system based on their individual memory needs. Additionally, the GA-MA785GPMT-UD2H and GA-MA785GPM-UD2H come equipped with 128MB of 1333MHz DDR3 SidePort memory, allowing dedicated memory access for the integrated graphics.

The GIGABYTE 785G series is equipped with a wide range of connectivity options including DVI as well as support for HDMI 1.3. With each model supporting an additional PCI-E 2.0 X16 graphics interface to support the ATI Hybrid Graphics technology, users are able to combine the power of their integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics core by adding an additional discrete graphics card. The GA-MA785GT-UD3H and GA-MA785G-UD3H also offer an additional PCI-E 2.0 x4 expansion slot for use with an add-on card.
