Fujitsu Expands CELSIUS Workstation Portfolio

Fujitsu announced an expanded portfolio of CELSIUS workstations featuring the latest Intel Core and Intel Xeon processors. With the new CELSIUS W280, CELSIUS W380 and CELSIUS W480, Fujitsu is offering application-optimized professional workstations, designed to increase productivity in a variety of business environments, ranging from entry-level to advanced, the vendor claimed.

The range offers options for price-conscious users with systems for 2D and entry-level Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Digital Content Creation (DCC) and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) while the systems in the advanced line are designed for environments requiring sophisticated graphics.

The new CELSIUS W280 features the latest Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors with vPro technology, while the CELSIUS W380 and CELSIUS W480 have Intel Core i3, i5 and Intel Xeon processors respectively. All three workstations benefit from Intel Turbo Boost Technology, which adjusts the clock-speed and number of cores in use on the fly, delivering optimized performance in changing environments, as well as reducing power usage. All CELSIUS workstations offer low noise emissions during operations, provide easy manageability and are ISV certified.
