Cringely succumbs to the '25 random things' thing

The meme of people writing lists of 25 random facts about themselves and distributing them across Facebook like a chain letter hit a fever pitch early this month, though it's subsided a bit since. Some credit it with alone and quadrupling the number of Facebookers who use its "notes" feature. Even the mainstream media took notice.

Salon called it both The Wall Street Journal (but I'm sure they'll figure out a way to blame it on Bill Clinton). And, of course, Time Magazine .

We now know more about near-total strangers than ever before. Whether we care is another story.

I tried to resist as long as possible. But as we all know, resistance is futile. So I offer unto you my 25 things.
