Court documents: ZeniMax Is NOT making a Fallout MMO

22.01.2010
Forum Duck and Cover has been following the Bethesda v. Interplay court case very closely and today they've obtained the specific portions of court testimony that Bethesda wanted redacted to hide the existence of a World of Warcraft-like MMO.

The redacted sections are too long to post here, so we direct you to for the full portions. What you need to know is that Bethesda claims they are not working on a Fallout MMO at this time and that they mystery MMO (which may or may not be an Elder Scrolls MMO) has been in production since 2006 or 2007.

Additionally, there's some amusing courtroom banter if you're the type who enjoys that kind of reading. We've excerpted it here for your enjoyment:

Interplay lawyer: Who is Matt Frior?

Witness: Matt is the President of ZeniMax Online Studios.

Interplay lawyer: He created an MMOG that was critically acclaimed with 25 people in 18 months, didn't he?
