ConceptDraw Office update improves apps

CS Odessa has updated its , with new features for ConceptDraw Mindmap and ConceptDraw Pro leading the changes to the collection of business productivity tools.

First released earlier this year, ConceptDraw Office aims to help business users manage projects, capture ideas, and track resources. Its components include CS Odessa's ConceptDraw Pro diagramming software, the ConceptDraw Mindmap brainstorming tool, and the ConceptDraw Project project-management app.

Version 1.1 of ConceptDraw Office announced Tuesday includes performance and interoperability improvements, according to CS Odessa.

In addition, Mindmap sports improved exporting of files to the Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote presentation programs. Mindmap now offers two ways to export content to PowerPoint--an Outline mode joins the existing Map mode for getting brainstorming documents into the presentation software.

ConceptDraw Pro also sees some improvements, including the ability to base default user settings on the local computer settings--a feature that CS Odessa says will allow for easy creating and printing of business graphics.

The 1.1 update is available for free to all registered ConceptDraw Office users. A single-user license costs US$499, with five-user licenses available for $2,230. CS Odessa also offers a .
