CommBank: Netbank transfers fixed

The Commonwealth Bank (CBA) has confirmed that outstanding issues with its online banking portal NetBank have now been resolved.

In a customer update, the bank said yesterday's issues with funds transfers and BPay payments not going though have been fixed.

"Some personal account holders were unable to transfer money or pay bills on Tuesday 1st March 2011 using NetBank, Mobile Banking and Telephone Banking," the update read.

"This issue has now been resolved and transactions can now be completed with all Commonwealth Bank services back to normal."

Yesterday afternoon the bank advised customers that .

"Please note that our contact centres are currently experiencing a large number of calls and you may have difficulty getting through to one of our staff members," the statement read. "If you need to make an urgent funds transfer please visit your local branch.
