Cocktail 4.3, Mac OS X maintenance tools utility updated

Maintain has updated its Mac OS X utility , which adds the ability to clear potentially harmful files such as 'most common Trojans' or other files that may harm your system in any way

Also new in Cocktail 4.3 is the ability to clear CrashReporter and HungReporter logs as well as fixes for compatibility issues with QuickTime 7.6.

Cocktail is an award-winning, general-purpose utility for Mac OS X, offering a mix of maintenance tools and interface tweaks, all accessible via a comprehensive graphical interface.

Most of Cocktail's major features are arranged in five basic categories, while a Pilot lets you clean, repair and optimise your system with the click of a button.

Cocktail 4.3 requires Mac OS X/Mac OS X Server 10.5 or later and is tested for compatibility with Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server 10.5.6 and uns natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.

A Cocktail Single User Licence costs US$14.95, around £10, while the Family License is $29.95, around £20.
