The NetOp Desktop Firewall is specifically designed to protect corporate businesses from the particular security risks that they face with their many laptop users. The new product aims to monitor traffic in and out of a PC and the processes running on it, thus keeping the laptop safe from malicious programs. The new Acer PD116 projector can be used to meet the needs of both business and home users. The projector is said to have the ability to support a wide range of multimedia formats, as well as three display modes (PC, movie and user), which all include automatic settings. Prominent selling points include projection distance of 1,2m to 12m; a front, rear, front-ceiling and rear-ceiling projection mode; and an internal speaker with three watts output, Acer says.
