Band Hero DS to include drum attachment, vocals

Activision has unveiled its plans for the upcoming DS version of Band Hero (the sequel that has more of a top-40, family friendly musical approach). While previous games have included a guitar grip attachment that let players replicate the console music game experience on portables, Band Hero will include the drumming and singing features included in and .

In addition to a new guitar grip, Band Hero will also support a new drum attachment that slips over the DS's d-pad and face buttons. Like the guitar grip, the drum grip will only work with the DS Lite, as the dimensions of the slip-on attachment won't fit the original DS or . Band Hero will also include vocals, which presumably, should be playable by DS owners of all stripes.
